Superside
"The world's leading AI-powered creative service, trusted by 500+ top brands. We're your creative team's creative team." Creative-as-a-service on a monthly subscription: a managed pool of vetted designers, increasingly AI-assisted, wrapped in a subscription with a dedicated creative director.
GetLatka estimates $44.9M ARR for 2024 and $30.8M revenue for 2023. A separate profile interview claims $0 to $55M ARR in four years, which conflicts. They reported 22,000+ creative projects for 700+ customers in 2023. No audited figures exist. Implied revenue per head is roughly $45-55k, which is agency economics, not software economics.
Who founded it
Co-founder on the growth and product side. Preqin records the company as co-founded by Thomassen "and others" in 2015; this is one of them.
Founded the company in 2015 in Palo Alto as Konsus. Public line is levelling the playing field for creatives globally: find, onboard and upskill talent worldwide and sell that capacity as a subscription.
Who runs it
The shape of the org tells you the motion. Read the titles, not the headcount.
Operations across a 1,044-person distributed delivery org. This is the role that makes the subscription model work or not.
Owns revenue. Norway-based alongside the CEO, so the commercial centre of gravity sits in Oslo even though the entity is Delaware.
Runs global sales from New York. Same pattern as Rocketium: the sales lead sits in the US regardless of where the company was built.
Growth. New York.
Partner marketing. The krea.ai Cannes co-hosting is the visible output of this function.
Owns the research-led content engine: the prediction reports, the Cannes activations, roughly 12 posts a month against Rocketium's two.
RevOps. Would own the funnel numbers behind the subscription model.
Owns the product surface: Superspace, Brand Brain and the agent features bundled into the $1k/mo platform fee.
One of six senior AI-creative leaders. Note the reporting line: AI and automation sit inside Creative, not Engineering.
Generative AI as a creative directorship. Their highest-engagement recent company post quotes him.
AI product, distinct from the AI-creative directorships. The split is deliberate.
Who they're hiring
Current staff show the motion they have. Open roles show the one they are buying. Two sources: LinkedIn job listings, and their own we-are-hiring posts, which for smaller teams are often the only public trace.

How they relate to us
The category leader in creative-as-a-service and the company Rocketium chose to build its only comparison page against. Twelve times Rocketium's headcount and a subscription ACV around $90k. Their model is humans-first with AI assisting, which is the opposite of the agentic model we and Rocketium are selling, and it is exactly the seam we attack: their cost base is people, so their price floor cannot fall the way ours can.
Their designers publicly test tooling (Figma Config releases) and the editorial line is that AI generates volume but cannot choose which version is right. Craft and judgment are the sell. This is a defensible brand position but it caps how far their unit cost can fall.

Former staff, best first. Recent leavers are the warmest — they still remember the numbers and no longer have a reason to protect them.

About 50 posts in roughly 15 weeks (~12/month) to 127,874 followers, median 52 likes. Anchored on original research they can gate and syndicate: "Frictionless Future", a prediction report built on 211 creative leaders. Compare Rocketium at ~2 posts/month.
sourceApr 2024 New AI Services launch; 2024 releases of Super Catalog, AI Preference Management, custom AI models; May 2025 custom AI image models and an AI-first rebrand. Brand Brain is their per-brand memory layer, the direct analogue of our brand intelligence layer. Partnership with Storyteq for templated motion cut production time 60%. Amazon Home case: 1,092 assets across 20 projects in three months.
sourceGroup Director of AI & Automation (Creative), Group Creative Director of Generative AI, Senior Director of AI Product, Senior Production Director for AI Video, and two AI Creative Directors. They have staffed AI as a creative discipline with its own directors, not as an engineering function serving designers. That is the opposite of the agentic bet: it scales judgment by hiring more senior judgment, which keeps revenue per head near agency levels.
sourceCEO and CRO in Norway, VP Global Sales and Senior Director of Growth in New York, VP Marketing in Massachusetts. Same shape as Rocketium moving its HQ to New York: the enterprise money is in the US and both companies have followed it.
sourceTheir designers publicly test tooling (Figma Config releases) and the editorial line is that AI generates volume but cannot choose which version is right. Craft and judgment are the sell. This is a defensible brand position but it caps how far their unit cost can fall.
sourceRoughly 15% share of the dedicated enterprise design-subscription segment by one estimate. Trustpilot 4.1/5. At 500 brands and ~$90k average contract the implied run-rate is in the $40-50M range, though this is inferred, not disclosed.
sourceThat is a ~$192k/year minimum from their own pricing page, materially above the ~$90k average contract that third-party guides quote. Third-party tier mapping (Vendr, buyer guides): Starter ~$5-8k/mo (40-80 hrs), Growth ~$10-18k/mo (80-160 hrs), Enterprise ~$20-40k+/mo (200+ hrs). Sold as hours of creative capacity, annual commitment, often prepaid. Video and motion excluded from the lowest tier. Company discloses only the $15k floor and the $1k platform fee; everything else is inferred.

They reported 22,000+ creative projects for 700+ customers in 2023. No audited figures exist. Implied revenue per head is roughly $45-55k, which is agency economics, not software economics.
sourceThe same role was posted by multiple named employees within 24 hours while only one listing appeared on LinkedIn Jobs. Consistent with how their content works generally: personal profiles carry reach, the brand account does not.
sourceAt least four employees posted near-identical recruiting messages on 15-16 July: "Superside is scaling our creative team, and we're hiring AI Creative Directors. We're looking for people who live inside node-based AI pipelines [Flora, Figma Weave, Krea Nodes]". A second variant adds AI Associate Creative Directors "based in LATAM and Canada, fully remote". Three things to read from it: (1) they are scaling the AI-creative discipline, not just staffing it, which confirms the six existing AI-creative directorships were a strategy rather than a one-off; (2) they name the toolchain publicly, so their production stack is node-based pipelines with a human director rather than an agent that runs end to end; (3) LATAM and Canada is a cost-arbitrage hire, which is the same lever we have in India and the one their $192k price floor makes hard to pass on.
sourceStreet interviews on the Croisette used as an always-on content series, plus a private yacht event co-hosted with krea.ai. Events are used to manufacture content, not just meetings, which is the inverse of Rocketium's cost-per-SAL approach.
